Brushing-advantageous technology for the high-grade surface finishing of modern fabrics
　　The known technologies for surface finishing-shearing, napping and sueding can now be complemented with brushing, a new gentle treatment for the preparation of uniform soft surfaces on woven and knitted fabrics.
　　The newly developed SANTABRUSH ensures an even and infinitely adjustable smooth surface treatment on dry fabric, together with outstanding repeatability of the desired brushed appearance. The soft, peach skin-like hand enhances the marketability of the fabrics which, prior to treatment, are frequently of a much harder quality.
　　SANTABRUSH-treated fabrics meet the call for high quality, trendy products. They are characterized especially by the following:
　High uniformity of the fiber fleece on the fabric surface, devoid of markings and stripes.
　Thanks to the smooth, suitable adapted treatment, no fiber damage or ruination of the fabric structure.

　The tensionless and length-tension controlled spread fabric on the SANTABRUSH is guided vertically from the top into the first treatment zone. The tangential contact with the brushes is boosted or decreased by means of horizontal, exactly adjustable deflection rollers, to facilitate different treatment intensities. An infinitely adjustable brush-roller speed and thus the peripheral speed of the brush also improve the brushing intensity and the uniformity of the respective treatment.
　On leaving the first treatment zone with its three brushing rollers, the fabric is length-tension controlled again but spread now from below and guided into a second treatment zone, which is also equipped with three brushing rollers. The fabric is led subsequently into a plaiting unit, which contains an antistatic device a further advantageous feature.
　　The SANTABRUSH is equipped with a fluff collecting and separating unit, which helps to ensure a clean and unstressed working climate.
　　The working speed depends on the character of the fabric, the required treatment result and the brushing intensity. It is infinitely adjustable for outputs of 4-30 meters per minute.
The straightforward and clearly defined design of the SANTABRUSH offers great application advantages for the manufacturing plant. Apart from the finishing results, it also exhibits high operational reliability and has a very low service and maintenance requirement.
