　　The treatment of knitted fabrics in tubular on the SANTASPREAD TS creates new standards relative to previously attainable quality levels so that garments sewn from SANTASPREAD TS finished fabric will yield the lowest residual shrinkage values.
　　The following treatment steps will be executed on the SANTASPREAD TS:
　width control through a newly designed infinitely adjustable special tubular fabric spreader driven by a variable speed motor for distortion-free fabric guidance
　steaming with a condensate-free steam box, which is easily operated and made completely form stainless steel
　compacting through two specially designed felt belts with individually adjustable belt speeds for overfeeding
　calendaring while passing between the felt belt and the heated shrinking rollers
　precision plaiting with newly developed plaiting device and automatic platform level adjustment controlled by folded fabric height
